Man of Steel Movie Review

Yet again, another remake of Superman. However, a very good one. This action summer blockbuster stars the very handsome Henry Cavill as Superman , and features really great sets and computerized graphics. I watched this film in an Ultra AVX  theatre big mistake for me because I suffer from sound sensitivity and had to plug my ears for most of the movie. However, if you enjoy the sound definitely view this movie in an Ultra AVX  theatre, it also has great 3D picture and comfortable seats. I think eventually all movie screening rooms will be ultra AVX , as they should be because thats what a consumer deserves. Anyway, this film is non-stop action and keeps your eyes glued to the screen. I don't know much about Superman's story nor am I really into comic books however, even if you are like me you will still enjoy the movie not only for the action but also the storyline keeps you engaged. It is informative and does not leave you with any questions. I would not call this a boring movie. I'd give it a 4/5. I definitely enjoyed the experience it takes you through his life from a baby up until an adult and no stone remains unturned.  This will be one of the biggest blockbusters of the summer I am predicting.  The movie features Laurence Fishburne , Amy Adams and Kevin Costner. One of the first faces you see is Russell Crowe so from that alone you know that it will be a good movie. So don't miss out , I think anyone can enjoy this movie from children and up.

Iron Man 3 Movie Review

I'd like to say that I very much enjoyed this movie. From the beginning to the end, Robert Downey Jr reprises  his role as Ironman and cast also includes Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle. It features of course all the wonderful gadgets of Stark Industries, the usual culprit that Ironman must save the world from engaging you from the beginning to the end.  It features a few flashbacks and answers many questions pertaining to how it all began for Tony Stark. As usual, it has non-stop action and it does feature several comedic moments which alleviate some of the drama and brings brief relief to viewers. This summer blockbuster is definitely a must watch. I give it 5/5. With most movies coming out it 3D now it has definitely changed the way how I enjoy movies and what they have to offer. As usual, it shows Ironman being down and out and just when you don't know whats going to happen, eventually it all works out. Will there be an additional sequel to this we will just have to wait and see ... perhaps with "Pepper" Potts.

Peeples Movie Review

While I found this movie really funny and I am huge Tyler Perry fan. Again, it seemed to be missing something. This movie featured the beautiful Kerry Washington from  ABC's Scandal, David-Alan Grier, Wade Robinson, Diahann Caroll and Tyler James Williams of Everybody Hates Chris to name a few. It about your typical mundane life and family with a little bit of pizazz added in. It includes realistic issues such as taking home a blue collar worker boyfriend to a white collar family, homosexuality acceptance, teenagers shying away from traditional parental grooming. Unfortunately, the story is a little bit flat and does not really engage the viewer, it does have many laughs throughout, however its was not enough to keep me engaged. It was a little bit disappointing because it did have many great actors in it, however playing it safe did not work out in this situation. I would give it perhaps a 2.5/5. I'd rather be completely honest and I will still remain a Tyler Perry fan, it's just this movie was kind of predictable and nothing out of the ordinary. It's an okay family movie, I guess for a family with older teenagers maybe to watch on a movie night. I can't judge as I'm no Tyler Perry , but it's not one of his greatest works and was not really what I expected either.

Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counsellor Movie Review

I know I'm really late on this review. However, I still wanted to let you know what I thought about it.  I know it may sound cliche however 'The grass is not always greener on the other side'. This movie cast includes Vanessa Williams, Lance Gross, Jurnee-Smolett Bell, Robbie Jones, Brandy Norwood, Renee Taylor and last but not least Kim Kardashian. I am a fan of Tyler  Perry and will admit that with no shame. This movie, I think was pretty great however , it just seemed to be missing something but I am not sure what. Over all I would give it a 3.5/5. The story line does not get exciting until halfway through the movie and it features a marriage counsellor who delivers a cautionary tale to a young married woman considering having an affair with someone else because she is not happy in her marriage. It definitely has a big lesson to learn at the end , unfourtunately you must wait until the end of the movie to find out. While Kim Kardashian and Vanessa Williams do not have big roles in the movie, I cannot say that their acting was horrible and they delivered for the roles that they were given. Lance Gross and Jurnee Smollett-Bell are able to illustrate the ups and downs that many marriages today have, would I recommend this movie to just about anyone probably not. However , the lesson is very strong at the end and helps people learn to be contented with all they have. Without giving too much away the actor Robbie Jones is like the Bentley that you so long to drive and Lance Gross is your everyday car that you cannot seem to be satisfied or happy with. I just feel perhaps if the movie had more drama it would've been alot more interesting and engaged viewers more. Some of it seemed boring , while the story and message are strong. I think this could be a great curl up on the couch movie to watch with maybe girlfriends or your significant other. I would not call it a well rounded movie for everyone to watch. Anyways, the cast did a great job and maybe for me it was too serious and not eventful enough.
